The Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) portal controls heterogynous LED signs, displays information in both in visual format and with push-button audible technology, including text-to-voice capability. The Portal supports amber and color signs and can accept data from multiple sources. The Portal also can create routes and stops, display information about devices and timing on geocoded maps, support train/bus/gate stop displays, and provide information to disadvantaged passengers.
The Portal can also provide real-time maintenance information, including controller status, power, communication, and LED panels info. It supports a variety of communication types and security protocols, including the NTCIP family of standards and TMDD Central-2-Central data exchange protocols. It can also provide reports, notifications, and alerts, and control 1,000-16,000 stops from a single interface.
