EMP is designed to manage and monitor power and cooling infrastructure, including UPSs, Generators, Charging stations, Solar panels as well as sensors and beacons. Real-time monitoring, proactive notifications, and failure prediction engines allows EMP to detect a single point of failure, isolate power outages and to minimize systems downtime. Historical power usage and data analytics used by EMP provide an ability to detect energy inefficient devices and gears and to reduce total system power consumption. EMP provides the foundation for the “Green ITS Cabinets, Green ITS Infrastructure and Green Highway” initiative, that integrates transportation functionality and ecological sustainability.
